Pomo Cowork · Time together

Work together online, wherever your desk is

Open the document you have been meaning to finish. There is room here to work alongside other people without a camera, a presentation, or a shared assignment.

Your next focus session

Getting your timer ready…

Start with 25 minutes of work and a five-minute break, with a 15-minute long break after four rounds. Choose your own pace in settings. An existing session keeps its timing.

What working together online means here

Working together online can simply mean doing your own work while other people do theirs. You do not need a joint project or a running conversation. Pomo Cowork places a focus timer beside live coworking sessions, giving you a place to begin a task with some company visible on the page.

Bring something you can move forward independently: outline a newsletter, organize reference files, or check one section of a report. Name the next action before starting the countdown. Keep the actual document in the tool where you normally work. This workspace supplies time and presence, rather than a shared document editor.

You can start when you are ready and take a break when your own interval ends. If you would prefer a familiar face, arrange a time with a friend and use a room you can both access. Live presence alone is not a partner booking or an invitation to interrupt; a personal check-in needs an explicit agreement.

Start an informal session

  1. Choose one independent task and open the files you need.
  2. Look at the current workspace’s live sessions, or arrange company with a friend.
  3. Set a manageable interval and start your own timer when ready.
  4. At the end, write down your next action, take a break, and decide whether to stay for another round.

Why use this timer?

No call to organize

Use the timer and live list without setting up a webcam or sharing your screen.

Your schedule stays yours

Start and stop your own session without waiting for a host or a group countdown.

A small way to show up

One defined task and one interval give an open-ended workday a concrete starting point.

Questions about work together online

Can I work together online without a camera?

Yes. This page uses a timer and live session list, not a video call. Your documents stay in the apps where you work; no screen-sharing step is needed to start a focus session.

Do I need to bring a coworker?

No. You can work alongside whoever has a visible session in the current workspace. The list may be empty. For guaranteed familiar company, arrange a time directly with someone you know.

Can we edit a document together here?

Pomo Cowork does not provide a collaborative document editor. Keep shared writing, code, or files in your usual tools and use this page to structure the time you spend working alongside each other.

Must I match everyone else’s timer?

No. The timers are independent. You can start a short session while someone else is in a longer block. Matching start times and breaks is optional and needs to be arranged between participants.

Is the live list an accountability partner service?

No. It shows current coworking activity and does not match or book a partner for you. If you want someone to hear your goal and check back later, agree on that with a friend or colleague.
